Regent Street Cinema in London will be hosting the screening of the 2017 French musical film ’Jeannette: The Childhood of Joan of Arc’ on March 09 and 13, 2018.
The film is directed by the French film director and screenwriter Bruno Dumont. The film is set in 15th century France during the Hundred Years' War between rulers of the Kingdom of England, against the ‘House of Valois’, rulers of the Kingdom of France. The narrative explores the 8-year-old shepherdess Jeannette the future Joan of Arc amidst the war-ravaged France and chase the story of this young heroine towards the ultimate realisation of her destiny.
The film cast includes Lise Leplat Prudhomme, Jeanne Voisin, Lucile Gauthier, Victoria Lefebvre, Aline Charles, Elise Charles, Nicolas Leclaire and Gery De Poorter.
